Discover

Problem Framing & Research

Counterfeiting isn't one problem — it's a different threat depending on the category. A fake automotive brake component is a safety issue. A counterfeit watch or sneaker is a brand-trust issue. A fake electronics component can be both. Early discovery meant understanding how differently each vertical — automotive parts, luxury goods, sportswear, and electronics — experiences counterfeiting, and where a single verification model could still hold across all four without collapsing into four separate products.

Define

Strategy & Roadmap

The strategic bet was a shared core: one QR-based authentication mechanism, adapted per vertical rather than rebuilt per vertical. I prioritized the underlying "scan-to-verify" flow as the foundation, then sequenced vertical-specific dashboard needs — dealer visibility for automotive, retailer tracking for luxury and sportswear — as build-out phases on top of that shared core. This kept the roadmap coherent instead of fragmenting into four unrelated efforts.

003

Design

UX & System Design

Designed the consumer-facing scan experience to be instant and unambiguous — a user shouldn't need to interpret a result, they should just get a clear yes or no. On the brand side, designed the monitoring dashboard that gives brands real-time visibility into where and when counterfeits are entering the supply chain, translating scan data into a system a compliance or brand-protection team could actually act on, not just observe.

Deliver

Sprint Execution & Launch

Managed sprint-based delivery across the shared authentication core and the four vertical-specific implementations, sequencing releases so each vertical launched on a validated foundation rather than a rebuilt one. Coordinated with engineering to keep the scan-to-verify flow fast and reliable at the consumer end, since latency or friction at that single interaction point undermines trust in the entire system.

Deliver

Sprint Execution & Launch

Ran sprint-based delivery in close coordination with engineering, translating design decisions into shippable increments aligned to compliance timelines. Managed scope trade-offs as regulatory guidance shifted mid-build, keeping the roadmap realistic without losing the deadline-driven urgency the product existed to solve.

01

Product Strategy

Roadmap & Prioritization

Translating ambiguous business problems into clear product direction. I map trade-offs, define priorities, and align roadmaps to both user needs and delivery timelines turning uncertainty into a structured path forward.

02

UX & Interface Design

Systems Thinking

Designing interfaces that hold up beyond a single screen. I build design systems and interaction patterns that stay consistent across products, making complex workflows feel simple for the people using them.

03

Delivery & Leadership

Sprint Execution

Running the process that turns design into a shipped product. I own sprint planning, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional delivery — the connective tissue between an idea and a live release.
