Problem Framing & Research

The EU's Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) requires products sold in the EU to carry a verifiable digital passport but the regulation itself was still evolving, and the target users ranged from compliance officers to supply chain teams with very different mental models of "compliance." Early discovery focused on separating what the regulation actually mandated from how brands were interpreting it, and identifying where the real friction would sit: data entry, verification, or reporting.

Define

Strategy & Roadmap

With the problem framed, the next step was turning a regulatory timeline into a product roadmap. I prioritized the core passport-creation and QR verification flows first — the parts brands would need to be functional ahead of compliance deadlines — and sequenced traceability dashboards and reporting tools as fast-follow phases. Every roadmap decision had to account for a moving regulatory target, not just user feedback.

Design

UX & System Design

Designed the end-to-end experience for digital passport creation, QR-based product verification, and traceability dashboards. The core challenge was making a genuinely bureaucratic process — regulatory data entry — feel structured rather than overwhelming, while keeping the consumer-facing verification flow (a simple scan) completely separate in complexity from the brand-facing compliance tooling behind it.

Deliver

Sprint Execution & Launch

Ran sprint-based delivery in close coordination with engineering, translating design decisions into shippable increments aligned to compliance timelines. Managed scope trade-offs as regulatory guidance shifted mid-build, keeping the roadmap realistic without losing the deadline-driven urgency the product existed to solve.

01

Product Strategy

Roadmap & Prioritization

Translating ambiguous business problems into clear product direction. I map trade-offs, define priorities, and align roadmaps to both user needs and delivery timelines turning uncertainty into a structured path forward.

02

UX & Interface Design

Systems Thinking

Designing interfaces that hold up beyond a single screen. I build design systems and interaction patterns that stay consistent across products, making complex workflows feel simple for the people using them.

03

Delivery & Leadership

Sprint Execution

Running the process that turns design into a shipped product. I own sprint planning, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional delivery — the connective tissue between an idea and a live release.
